November reads! What We Can Know had an intriguing premise, but the story-within-the-story dragged for me. The Guest Lecture was a stream-of-consciousness with some interesting academic topics. I, Robot felt a bit dull—not sure I’ll continue the series. 📚💙 #booksky

I’m about half way through The Wise Man’s Fear and I don’t want it to ever end! I felt the same way about the 1st book in the series, The Name of the Wind. If you need an escape from the real world, these books are totally absorbing! #booksky 💙📚🪐

Just finished: Heavy by Kiese Laymon is a deeply personal memoir about his experiences as a black man in US. Women Without Men by Shahrnush Parsipur is a parable about 5 Iranian women, using fantastical elements in the vein of García Márquez. I’m here for any novel where a person turns into a 🌳! 📚💙

American Dirt was my favorite from this month. I also got half way through All Systems Red, but I kind of hated it and didn’t finish. Maybe I was just in the wrong mood for it! 💙📚

I just finished Blindness by José Saramago. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Summary: never-ending nightmare!

It was a really interesting premise, but I can’t say I enjoyed it. The graphic content and writing style were challenging for me.

Next up: The City and Its Uncertain Walls, Murakami 💙📚
