A simple but much needed visual for the pre-battle stats screen: an indicator of how much damage you might take. It’s there in number form, but a quick to glimpse visual is never a bad thing #gamedev #indiegamedev

Once I get my next block of features in, I might start looking at turning the flat 2D look into something more 2.5D. I love the idea of proper shadows and lighting but maintaining the pixel art character look. Here’s my current list:

Adding attacks instead of weapons to the attack list makes way more sense. For now, red is physical and yellow is magical. #gamedev
