It was very linear but the design of VR call for that. Especially if you want very good interaction.
4A Games and MachineGames both have an open level philosophy mixed with more linear sequences, and I think people expected that.

It was very linear but the design of VR call for that. Especially if you want very good interaction.

I don't think in 2025 it can be as linear as the old ones but, at the same time, if this mean more awful vehicles like HL2, well, please don't.

Do you know the type of game we can expect ? Extraction PvPvE, a more traditionnal mission based coop like Helldivers 2 or the obvious MH clone ?

When we talk about project taking a lot more time to do, it's a good reminder to add we also (for most of them), lose the MP mode that was in SP games.

I don't think there is a better timing to release something that isn't a console and isn't running on Windows.
Of course, they have to price it right.
I also think having a "small" TDP is great, regarding electricity prices increase.
