This actually might be the saddest performance I’ve seen from the team. Non competitive to the point where it feels like they gave up. But what’s even sadder is they just aren’t as talented as a team that was one loss away from the first pick last year.
A lot of clock issues on the final drive. But result is 24-7 Patriots at the half

The Bills look utterly unprepared to play today so far.

It’s the smug sense of superiority that gets me from AI guys. That they feel the need to do this whole “woe is me” theater. You saw the payouts the ‘08 Recession causers got and wanted a slice of that pie. Fine, you’ve already won. Stop acting like there was any real vision other than stealing.
What if the A.I. bubble “is an inevitable part of developing and adopting a revolutionary tool that will fundamentally improve productivity and growth?” Mohamed El-Erian writes.
Opinion | A.I. Is a Bubble. Maybe That’s OK.
Investors’ excitement rightly reflects the potential transformation of the entire economy.

Apologies for coming off as shitty here, but a lesson here to many Democrats is when the sitting president is a dementia-addled octogenarian it might be a good idea to start giving the VP a more prominent presence considering they will likely be the party’s candidate in the next election
What's the deal with Vance becoming the face of everything lately? Is Trump so confused about the issues that don't want him taking questions? Seems like all he can do these days is parrot his rally talking points and blather about "the enemy within."

Maybe ask Alex Thompson to look into this?

The biggest thing we need to do is stop framing him as “uninformed” or and idiot. He’s a eugenicist. He believes preventative medicine is inherently wrong because it allows “lesser” people to survive. He is in fact actively trying to kill people.

Even ignoring how the Dixie Chicks and “freedom fries” were more than 20 years ago, how do these people look at themselves in the mirror with dignity. Is this really it for punditry now? Is it just “you started it” until the end of time, are you all just nine fucking years old now

I don’t even think it’s going to take that long. Because so much of the anti-sequel sentiment is tied to the alt-right and one of the bleakest eras in American history, even within like 3 years, no one’s going to want to be inadvertently associated with “them” by not liking the sequels.
And in about ten years the consensus on the sequels is gonna swing too and people will start looking at you funny if you try to say those ones are bad.

a big part of this is the notion of 'respect for the office' and the way in which the U.S. ended up replicating the norms of aristocracy and royalty but for elected officials. for instance, the idea of addressing people by the highest office they've *ever* held is not generally a thing elsewhere
Would really like an explanation of where this came from- nobody in the US can ask a fuckin follow up worth their lives
