Our lab is working to diagnose, prevent, and treat disease using microbes. One of the ways we are doing this is via delivery of therapeutic proteins via L. reuteri. An example is the use of L. reuteri to deliver a venom toxin capable of stopping T cells that drive autoimmunity.
