Well I just got told! Son (36) being kitchen help tonight asked for reminder about size for cutting onions.
"So you want half in half centimetre pieces & half inch pieces?"
"Yes please, " I replied "nothing like mixing your measuring systems".
"Well, you & Dad raised me like this."

If you are planning on attending MardiGrass, do yourself a favour & either register for a postal vote, or pre-poll. The local polling booth would not cope with 100s or 1,000s of extra voters.

Just had a thought on tax reform. We all remember how Labor’s proposals for NG/CGT went. What if, instead of the politically difficult canning them, it were made an either/or choice - claim NG then not eligible for CGT discount, forgo NG then able to claim CGT discount?
