In addition to to shelter they face difficulty accessing food and water due to the exorbitant prices in Gaza. In Refaat's words, "I can no longer provide the minimum requirements of life." His daughter and wife also need help with their personal needs.

As winter approaches, they face additional difficulties in their temporary shelter, which provides minimal protection from the cold, leaving them vulnerable to hunger and extreme cold.

Access to necessary care, the pacemaker replacement for Refaat, and treatment for Noura in Gaza is almost impossible due to the ongoing blockade, scarcity of medical supplies, and deteriorating health conditions.
