Some of my teachers both in high-school and uni were nerds. Con-attendees, artists, collectors... most people actively participating in fandom spaces were adults. I've had interactions like the one I had today since I was a teen myself. That's always been fandom life for me.

She also said I looked "cool" and it's weirdly reassuring to be perceived as that by a teenager (especially one that kinda reminds me of me at that age). Teens tend to intimidate me for some weird reason😅

It was a quick 3 mins max convo and it kinda reminded me of cons and those random enthusiastic and nerdy interactions about fandom with random people. Maybe a con will be in my horizon in 2026.

I love flowers! I just think it can cost the same, it's more fun and a bit more original to receive Legos or puzzles 🤷 It would definitely work better on me in a 1st/2nd/3rd date scenario... These over flowers any day👇🌷 (Plus, it could be a fun activity to do together ON the date? FUN!)
