My group does one called Relaxation Station once a month on the 1st Sunday (when we can)
That event is a range from chill house/dance to ambient/downtempo, depending on the night
We love to do collabs for it, too

The ability to tap a button and have VRC swap to desktop or swap back to VR mode or making this more seamless somehow

To add to this, an icon next to someone's nameplate or something that shows if someone has your avatar off, partially shown, or fully shown
That way you as the person with the avatar knows if you ate being perceived or not

For you to be able to prevent someone from coming into a world/event at all or use an avatar at all in a world for performance reasons
Like, all avatars over 200 texture memory are turned off for everyone and unavailable for use

Biblically accurate VRChat music event <3
November 16, 2025 at 9:11 PM
Ahhhh, so you think the physbone component count is also too low considering this?
November 16, 2025 at 8:04 PM
And the texture memory of an "optimized" avatar is still really high considering most people rock an 8gb VRAM GPU
Tl;dr, I think VRC could stand to lower/limit some requirements, and raise some requirements at least on PC VRChat avatar rankings before the rank of "very poor"
November 16, 2025 at 8:03 PM
I strongly agree with this statement
From what I have noticed, the poly limit and number of trail renders to make an avatar "very poor" are absurdly low, there are shaders that should probably automatically make an avatar ranked "very poor" if it has them because they are heavy AF,

3.) Don't use a Discord vanity link and change the link in your VRChat group once a month-ish and deactivate the old invite link
The scammers 9/10 come from the VRChat website unfortunately

Other things like invite only groups might help with this? Not sure though
November 15, 2025 at 10:25 PM
2.) Then, manually make it so the scammers can't access most of the discord unless they respond in a channel with words you say (my server is 18+ so someone has to type "Here, 18+" for us to assign a member role)
Bots/scammers aren't smart enough to do this
I give them 3 days, then they get a kick
November 15, 2025 at 10:12 PM
I have a few solutions for finding scammer/bots:
1. Turn on the Community Server function & put several answers/questions that assign roles in onboarding
If all roles are selected, answers that are contradictory/confusing, or answers only a bot would click/assigns a bot/etc role, kick or ban them

Happy almost birthday also!

I'm so proud of you <3

The Live Now tab is working well for our group, too!
We love to be newcomer friendly and a lot of people in VRChat never even stumbled upon raves, live performers, or other music events organically before this update
I'm a big fan

Fantastic set! I enjoyed playing around in the sand to it <3
November 13, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Depends
It seems like when you combine high quality IMUs with cameras or magnetic fields or something else to fix or compensate for its problems, you can end up with amazing tracking
Like SLAM tracking works GREAT when it has no interference or how promising FluxPose trackers seem to be

You killed it! One of my favorite sets and visual experiences from the weekend for sureeeee
