I well remember seeing this originally on TV. He was a complete ghoul. UK circuits were lined with railway sleepers and Armco. The riders were treated like cattle. The Dave Potter situation was criminal.

Remember it well. My Dad worked for RMC, and they had a great newspaper featuring sport they sponsored. When he went to F1 they paid a large amount to have their name on the side of the RAM March.

I do really like what Kramer does building actual race bikes. Very innovative, and even in Supersport competitive here. There was rumour a couple of seasons back of a one make series for BSB, but nothing other than rumour unfortunately.

Is it true that ABBA never made a financial contribution to Slim Borgudd? He thought having the band name on the car may attract additional backing with companies keen to be associated with the band.

Great stuff, really enjoyed the Cyclocross content. Rooting for @camerooneymason.bsky.social again this year. Been impressed with Ishbel Strathdee in the early part of the season too. Yip very biased seeing as am Scottish!

Cheers Dave, need to get round to the patreon thing. Unfair I get all this great content and not paying a few Bob for it. Have loved so many of the guests especially the more seasoned ones mixed in with the current riders. J

Thanks for that, am slowly finding my spds on the platform. Do you know if any of the teams have accounts. Just watching Merketplatz. Some brilliant technical features on the course today.

Won't get over this year, enjoyed being over last year, got digs on the outskirts on the Royal canal so it was a short train ride out and walk to the Sports facility. Love any of my time in Ireland. Had many years racing motorcycles in the North.

Was with his team in the morning and spoke to his Dad and everyone was quite confident as he had a brilliant ride the day before. Possibly he put too much into that ride. Was a good laugh anyway!!!

Yeah feeling the same way. I have known him since he was a junior, and he raced in some of the events me and my mates promoted in the area we all lived in. Really decent lad, very humble for an elite athlete. We were over in Dublin last year, really thought it could have been his day.
