I’m old enough to remember when Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi fought a government shutdown in the first Trump term when they were both in the minority, and famously won with Trump having a meltdown.

What’s changed?

I think Schumer just doesn’t have the appetite for this anymore.

Apparently all it takes is a post a fringe social media platform for complete stock chaos.
