I'm not a writer. And for you to ask that is akin to "if you don't like it, how would you do it?" And I find that very disingenuous. It's important to recognize how language dictates our thinking. I can't show you that if you're not open to seeing this outside of your own perspective.

I agree with that. My argument here is how language is used. If all we do is create headlines that continue to cause panic without direction, that's exactly what we will have. Yes, we need information. Yes, we need action. This language is used as a tool to dissuade action, not call for it.

Okay, bud. Since you don't see it, it must be true. I won't argue with you. To be clear- I'm not asking for less info. I'm asking that the information be provided in a way that isn't *just* to scare people. This type of language is purposeful, and I can't show you that if you don't care to see it.
