Hello everyone! This is my gaming thread for the year of 2026! Everytime I beat a new game, DLC pack, or expansion, I will make a small post detailing my thoughts on the experience! There may be repeats as the year goes on. Thank you and please enjoy the ride with me! 🥳
Not sure how I wanna pick up Dragon Quest 7. Originally I was planning on the Switch 2 version until I found out that version os a Game Key Card and im not supporting those. Maybe the original Switch version? Thats what I did with Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD2D.

Finally reached level 90 for Astrologian! Hard to believe after all of this time, but im finally ready to finish Endwalker's patch content and lose my sprout! Its been almost a full year and a half for me to reach this point! Where am I at after all this?

I will argue that the Steam version of Chrono Trigger is at par with, if not better, than the DS version. I will die on this hill.

Im torn between feeling like I need to keep up with the news cycles and not turn from all the violence this administration and ICE are doing, but im tired. Its breaking me down. I feel guilty when I look away for my own mental health because so many don't have that option. Fuck man. Im not ok.

I feel deeply upset today about what happened with ICE. Not only the fact that it happened, but the fact that people defend it. There are so many things that shouldn't be political. There are so many things we can disagree on and still be friends. But not this. ICE is no different from the Nazis.

Enjoying a decent night this evening. Proud of my gaming progress even though I worked a 12 hour shift today. Excited for my 3 days off to get so much more done. This will be a fantastic week! 💪

Another day done, some progress made. Tonight was a FF14 night. I did my daily leveling, main scenario, and alliance raid roulettes. Got asto up to a happy 87 tonight. Excited to wrap up my FF14 grind!

Really happy with the gaming progress i made today. Did a quick daily leveling run for FF14 and got Astro to level 86, and i made significant progress in the Pokémon ZA DLC. Im thinking by Wednesday I'll be level 90 Astro and be done with the Pokémon DLC!

What is everyone's opinions on the Pokémon Legends ZA DLC? Besides the new megas, im not really enjoying it so far. I dont like that everything is timed and I dont like how much stronger everything is now. Grinding up the points to move onto the next task is kinda boring to me too.

I wish I had the courage to actually permanently delete Twitter. I dont post or comment on there anymore. Everytime I get ok there im reminded why I hate the platform. I mean, just the blatant right wing propaganda, racism, sexism, homophobia, people casually dropping the R word. Its just so bad.

Constantly fighting with the idea of "I'm not getting enough sleep, I should sleep in," and "I cant spend all day in bed I need to get up and at least act like I'm doing something."

I just had a really crazy idea. I want to play through a ton of series of video games, but I dont have time to play every single game for every single series right now. I want to make a list of what the community around each series considers the best of the best, and play each of those games.

Im really excited to experience Dawntrail in FF14. People hated Stormblood, and that's my 3rd favorite expansion out of the 5 I've played.

Im not gonna rant about politics too much, but it feels really fucking awful to just be in a constant losing streak. I already couldn't afford Healthcare. I was looking for a new job that pays just a little more so I could actually afford it in addition to the rest of my bills.

Really debating on which platform to get Final Fantasy Tactics on. I have a Switch, PS5, and a gaming PC plus a Steam Deck. I have most Final Fantasy releases on all platforms. Im not sure about getting it on Switch incase there are performance issues.
