It’s probably the hardest thing to comprehend for the younger generation.. there just wasn’t really any of the poly modelling tools we now take for granted. Modelling was HARD, and don’t get me started on UVs …

Johnny Alpha based on the character from #2000ad. I remember spending ages on this pose, trying to push it into something really dynamic, but also aware that I'd probably gone too far. One of the first comments I got was something like "why are his legs broken?", and it ruined my day 😄
