Just read an article which claims that back in the 1700s one of the heirs to the estate at Trewithen died "of a fever as consequence of eating an ice-cream after dancing"

I think this is the old Vicarage at Luxulyan. According to local tradition, the ghost of Parson Cole was often seen along the lane nearby, until his spirit was laid by the rector of Roche and trapped in the oven of a nearby cottage.
