In Yu-Gi-Oh!, when a card is placed face-down, it usually means one of two things depending on the type of card: A face-down monster card is in Defense Position and it stays hidden until it is flipped face-up, either by being attacked, by a card effect, or when you choose to flip-summon it. This creates “surprise” plays, especially with monsters that have Flip Effects. You can also set Spell or Trap cards face-down in your Spell & Trap Zone. They remain hidden until you decide to activate them (if their timing conditions are met). This keeps your opponent guessing whether it’s a harmless Spell or a dangerous Trap.

The title screen of The Voyage of the Mimi. A thirteen-episode American educational television program depicting the crew of the ship Mimi exploring the ocean and taking a census of humpback whales. The series aired on PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) and was created by the Bank Street College of Education in 1984[3] to teach middle-schoolers about science and mathematics in an interesting and interactive way, where every lesson related to real world applications. It's cast included Ben Affleck and Judy Pratt who was deaf and would teach sign language and acceptance throughout the show.
