No, I also quote quite a few Physicists as well. The fact most of them also happen to be atheists isn't my fault.🤔
The rest are scientists of every stripe & quite a few philosophers, but one guy I really like to quote quite a bit was actually a preacher & a man of God, so definitely not an atheist.😉

You wouldn't be surprised to discover some people are suspicious about eclipses traveling from West to East across Earth, but they are mostly flerfers who are already critically-impaired.
We need science communication like Phil provides. I'm volunteering for it too, it's up to our physics community.

What? Not the fact he played an astrophysicist on the television show Sliders. This was on TV when I was going to college at Berkeley, first 2 seasons were fantastic, one of the first real explorations of the alternative multiverses, first episode was filmed on campus. I wish it had lasted longer.😒

He was a wonderful influence on all the junior engineers & scientists at JPL. He always seemed interested in everything each of us was doing & made all of us more passionate about science in general.
He had so many good quotes it's extremely hard to pick just one, but I guess I've always liked this.

It's just more of that social Darwinism crap the rightwingers are so fond of, a viral version (no pun intended) of their favorite end-times scenario, the zombie apocalypse. Whatever they can use to justify the wholesale slaughter of groups they find outside their preferred demographics.
