If it eliminates starvation and homelessness, especially in children, then yes! If everyone can afford to go to the doctor when they need to, then yes! I want people to thrive, not suffer.

I gave you data, not an opinion. We can’t make it work here because you can’t have a functioning socialist society and a dominant capitalist society at the same time. I believe that we need change, and would like to see us succeed as many other countries already have.

Not sure how you determined that it’s inefficient or doesn’t work, but it seems to be doing very well for the happiest and healthiest ranked counties in the world.

I don’t know what you want your money going towards, but I’m more than happy if mine gets spent on hungry children, providing housing, healthcare and environmental protections. What exactly do you want yours spent on that is better?

Honestly, just be ready for anything. Don’t get stuck in the scramble when the late warning comes in. Have water, food, gas, plywood, etc in your home now so that you can either stay or go last minute and not be fighting for resources.

He’s blatantly ignoring the fact that the majority of these deportations aren’t criminals at all, let alone violent criminals. Also, not all of them were here illegally! They were actively working with the system to maintain refugee status and become a citizen.

Happened to me at 17 as well when I was hospitalized for stomach pains. The whole room was cartoon characters. It made me want to cry more 🥲 Technically teens are still pediatrics.

My friend does small animal rescues, and has had a foster rabbit for over 2 years now. Can’t even give it away with all the equipment for free. They are a lot of work, and most are not fond of being played with. It bites. Go to the petting zoo instead, and leave them a nice donation.

It’s because they are so insecure that being alone terrifies them, or they can’t handle being in silence with their own terrible thoughts. Seeing someone comfortable in solitude looks like power or superiority, and they want to tear that down.
