I don't have the exact numbers, but it's got to be close to a hundred tailored apps now, and I only have the one interview to show for it.

So on a scale from 1 to fucked? Pretty fucked.

I did not get the job.
Hoping for better luck in the next 100 or so applications.

Started with FF1 in December, now I've done 1 through 9. Started X, then I'm skipping 11 and doing zodiac age.

Not decided how I'm tackling 13 yet, as I've been on my Switch for these first. 15 and 16 I'll do on the PS5.

Finished it yesterday! Had such a great time with this one. Breath of fresh air after 8 (which was a slog for me), great throwbacks, and I absolutely adore Vivi. I think after I let it digest a little, it will win out as my favorite. Loved the whole journey.

I'm still very early in the demo, but I have concerns.

For those of you who followed me in my Twitch days and want to take a trip down memory lane.

Each playthrough should have a dedicated playlist.

So, so worth it!

Grabbed them on the Switch so it easy to play when I had a few moments, think that really helped with making it more approachable

That and realizing they were mostly a lot shorter than I initially thought

And that's it. Currently I'm rereading a Christmas Carol, like I do every year, and slowly dipping my feet into the most recent Stormlight Archive (I suspect I'll be reading this one for a long while).

I doubt anyone will read this thread, but if you did, what were your favorite reads this year?

Battle Ground by Jim Butcher

I've been slowly catching up on the Dresden Files over the last few years. And this year I made it to the thrilling conclusion of the last published book. What a journey, what a series. I can't wait to see how Jim Butcher continues this fantastic saga.
