This junction is a nightmare for all road users at the best of times.
ASLs are routinely ignored.
It actually forms part of National Cycle Route 56
The picture shows the situation from the other side and yes, that sticker on the traffic lights is all you get in terms of signage.

There's normally at least 10+ vehicles backed up in every direction at this time.
