Ah, so his self-image as a crusader for environmental health led him to believe that he could do no wrong in pursuit of that.

A part of me also believes that the brainworms from some exotic meat he ate has affected his cognition.

His AIDS denialism is particularly risible considering the death toll the disease has in Africa, not to mention among African Americans. In a more sane world, we’d call AIDS denialism racist eugenics.

What top Democrats have spent the last eight years trying to restore can't be restored. It's been broken irreparably, and it's been repudiated by voters. What progressives—leftists, liberals, Democrats, whoever—need to do now is articulate a vision of the next thing, and start making it real.
