I may never have the means/success to make a Siren’s Call fighting game like I want to (working title Siren’s Call: Golden Fantasia) but I DO have the highest rated VN on VNDB with the tag “Autistic Protagonist” so that’s something I can bring up at thanksgiving dinner right?????

So after 4 or so hours of playing, I can say with confidence that I’ve decoded the mystery behind what the “F” in silent hill f stands for!!!
It’s…it’s five.
This is silent hill five people. Lives up to that idea too.

Kinda crazy to me how Siren’s Call: Escape Velocity has almost double the reviews on VNDB (visual novel data base) than on Steam.

The ending of Siren’s Call: Escape Velocity has become, to my surprise, the most contentious aspect of the game. There were things I thought people would be much more divided on.

The ending of Siren’s Call: Escape Velocity has become, to my surprise, the most contentious aspect of the game. There were things I thought people would be much more divided on.
For our first game/visual novel, it’s kinda cool to see, ngl.

The end is here. With all of the music completed and the music gallery programmed in, Siren's Call: Escape Velocity is more or less complete. I will be launching version 0.99 in a few hours. After that, we will be leaving early access ideally within a week or two.

What are your favorite gaming stories of the year? I don't mean stories IN games you played, but glimmers of hope in an otherwise bleak industry?
To me, it's YIIK's redemption arc. Big win for indies in general. Sets a good precedent that with enough hardwork, things can change.

Played the new YIIK update for about two hours. One of the most fun RPG systems I've played in recent memory. Unlike the previous version, I found myself intentionally getting into battles just to have fun.

It's crazy to think that the game has come this far. 52 original tracks altogether. That's a LOT of music.
