Barely into my 37th birthday, and I just learned that one of my all-time illustration heroes Robert McGinnis died last month at 99. He was making art during WWII and still painting gorgeous work in recent years. Clearly, Nazis come and go, but artists endure and fill the world with hope. RIP Bob. 🎨🖌️

I made this for Valentine’s Day 3 years ago, just before our 2nd child was born. Now more than ever, I want us all to fight for a world that she and her big sister can grow up in where love is valued above everything else. Where real love, that is generous and kind and welcoming is what drives us.

When “Law” becomes cruel and intolerant, it’s our duty to be criminally kind and inclusive.
No one cannot erase trans and non-binary people from existence. They’ve always been here and always will be. We should all be accomplice to breaking whatever laws the fascists think will change that.
