Today 5 years ago we got this teeny tiny baby from the shelter.
Yesterday, he dissapeared for 25 harrowing hours only to saunter back in at 3.30 in the morning as if nothing happened.

Today I taught myself to crochet cables and made some wrist warmers. I am in l💖ve with the cable stitches. The handwarmers don't have a pattern, I just made it up as I went along.

This is my baby, a Strelitzia Reginae that I grew from a seed. It's huge.
Most years it will give one flower and some new leaves.
So, now the game starts: on the second pic.. flower or new leaf. It would be a bit early for a flower though #plant #strelitzia #houseplant stay tuned for updates

Making your own jeans means you can do whatever you want to the back pockets... A.k.a: make your life a little bit more difficult by dragging your embroidery machine down from the attic. #sewing #embroidery if I ever do it again, I should embroider first, then cut the pattern..

#TimeToBrag yesterday I went to pick up an absolute treasure trove of bobbin lace supplies. I went for the pillows and a table, but when I got to the seller's house, she had a huge collection of books, magazines, patterns and examples, and bobbins. €30,- for the whole batch #BobbinLace #LaceMaking
