On a rewatch I loved Emilia Perez even more and am more convinced that Karla Sofia Gascon is the one that needs to win the Oscar this year. What she does in this movie deserves every accolades imaginable.

Blitz has many ideas it wants to tackle but unfortunately doesn’t really delve to deep on any of them. Charismatic performances, great production design, & inventive direction from McQueen really saves this one from being a total dud.
