'The Morning of the Magicians' contains thought provoking theories on how the whole of humanity could live a completely sustainable and potentially infinite existence, eventually evolving into space faring beings. A far fetched idealistic work that most scoff at. It's a fun read. Long but inspiring.

2024 has been a scary year. Trapped in constant fear of the fascist hammer dropping. We suffer great consequences of the rich being our overlords. Some good things did happen for me personally but it all felt overshadowed. And I'm currently moving, so that adds more horror.

Hopefully we can take away the important aspects from this novel. We should utilize them to help ourselves. We need to not extinguish our existence, becoming a forgotten event that no being in the universe will ever know. That would really fucking suck.

Just took my bestie took the emergency vet. His first time being this sick and he's almost 5 years old. Just some stomach thing. He's going to be fine.

Queerness, transness, women's rights. These concepts are despised by far too many. Misogyny and homophobia/transphobia should be extinguished forever. Forgotten with time. This book is short, beautiful and deeper than most longer novels. It's weird and highly original. Find it, read it.

This is one hell of a tiny weird af cool ass book. Minimal trippy mind bending stuff. Really well written. Short and sweet. Disturbing. Great body horror. Identity chaos. I'll have some more Brian Evenson soon thank you.
