Yep. If you go on the GCSBA online registry (it's publicly available), there's a whole section dedicated just to rams. Folks post pics -- so it's a good place to see a lot of variety in one go.

He absolutely looks like a GCN. And, he's **very** pretty. ♥️ (I'm the current Pres of the GCSBA, so I think just about all of them are beautiful. 😉)

Yeah. If you read their official 'breed' description, it basically says "not very big; typically no wool on head, belly, or legs; parasite and heat resistant". The rest of their characteristics are ALL over the board. They're a bit like Justice Potter Stewart's definition of pornography. 😏

...(basically humping whoever they ran into while grazing the entirety of the SE US over 600 yrs), widely geographically-distributed genetic bottlenecks (island-type effects), would likely make doing something like that functionally difficult. 🤷🏼

Since GCNs are a landrace and not a breed, there may be some markers that one **could** technically choose to say "This is a GCN", but I think that the high degree of genetic variation within the group, historic outbreeding...
