Stern words from ⁦‪the conservative WSJ editorial board‬⁩: “The real offender here is a President who seems to think he can use the powers of his office to run vendettas. We said this was one of the risks of a second Trump term, and it’s turning out to be worse than we imagined.”

The repeated gut-punches of fascism are unfortunately becoming familiar. The words from the Fourth Circuit just sound like the last whispers of democracy before the door slowly closes on history.
NEW: The Fourth Circuit REJECTS the Trump admin's appeal of Judge Xinis's orders to "facilitate" Kilmar Abrego Garcia's release: "We shall not micromanage the efforts of a fine district judge attempting to implement the Supreme Court's recent decision." storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Once you establish that people can be punished because the administration doesn't like their speech, expanding the bounds of who can be treated that way becomes inevitable.

📌NOTE: Immediately after the vile attack on Zelensky by Putin's puppets Friday, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries should have called a joint press conference and explained to the American public the significance, heinousness and danger of that sickening surrender.

📌They should STILL be talking now.

Genuine question for @admiralstav.bsky.social and @genmhayden.bsky.social : how will American soldiers, seamen and officers respond when they are ordered, at some point, to stand down (or, God forbid, fight) when Russia attacks their European counterparts?

Getting agitated because the academic ‘elites’ annoy you rings pretty hollow when you contrast that with having to mop up your empty bank accounts and after a bunch of economically ignorant flex-heads start ramming the economy into every iceberg they can find.
