It's taken me a lot of trial and error and practice, and depending on the body, it's more of a struggle with their devkit if they didn't do a 1 to 1. But this generally works for me. Oh and not weighting with all the modifiers on (mirror's fine, but things can get confused if you've got solidify --

After binding, I'll pose the rig so that it shows where it's crunching, and I'll edit the piece and go go into the mesh dropdown> weights> smooth and smooth it a couple notches and THEN I'll touch up in the weight tab with xray on and a soft average in the trouble spots. --

I'm so sorry I missed this whole thing. idk how? I just didn't get notification or I'm blind (quite likely the blind bit) Depending on the object you're binding (which you probably did by now, lol) I bind without weight smoothing on, as that'll pull stuff I might not want into the piece. --
