I just think that it feels dated a bit. The size of the map, the references. The fact that your social links are no more than story side quests with no gameplay effect...

I was expecting more of a makeover to bring it to p5 royal's level of mechanics.

That's ridiculous. P3 is empty as hell and feels unpolished. If you play the original P3, you can't even control your party's actions in combat!
