Hi James - I used to work on building safety. While the BSR has it's issues, some in the industry have really got let off the hook here for wanting to build sh*t buildings and the BSR not letting them (hence major delays) - or industry simply opposing any post-Grenfell safety regulations at all

Yes - but no one knows what they stand for and they are not giving their traditional voters a reason to vote for them, is the issue. The communications have been appalling.

And it's very good to have a long term political plan - but your voters need to have some idea of what that is and why they should vote for you. Currently the strategy appears to be "we're not Reform or the Tories, so trust us"

Genuinely interested, what do you perceive as the plan? I'm a Labour voter and very politically plugged in and I just don't understand what the vision is - an overarching view that holds it all together. What I see is a mish mash of often quite competing policies & short term thinking
