Banner. Midnight in the Arctic.
I think differently; very, very, occasionally I am right.
The Office for Students might disagree.
FWIW. I neither approve of the OfS or the fine. But that doesn't change the facts behind the fine.

Hindu Rishi Sunak was not English. He was essentially a stateless technocrat who just saw being PM as a 'managerial' job like being the CEO of a multinational.
That - and that he had a Green Card which would allow him to move and work permanently in the US.

But some (or many?) immigrants don't want to integrate. They want to get out of the sh*th*le countries they have come from but have no desire to become part of this country. Herein lies some of the real (or perceived?) issues.

This is wrong. The SC said that the reference to "sex" (not "women") in the 2010 EA does not encompass trans people. But the SC is clear that trans _people_ can't be discriminated against in employment, housing etc. However they can't (say) enter opposite single sex spaces, etc. USA Today is wrong.

As so often. A vast ‘urban’ 4x4 blocking wheelchairs and the like and with its almost obligatory ‘vanity’ number plate.

Cowley Rd. Blocking lowered kerb.
Why is it so common that dropped kerb vehicles are large ‘urban’ 4x4s?

@badlyparkedox.bsky.social

Hard to say if this pickup truck is ‘badly painted’ as it is wider than the actual parking bay.

Second attempt to post.
This is a regular visitor to Bartlemas Rd.
Blocking wheelchairs but also always has a brick under the front wheel so may have a defective parking brake.

Bartlemas Rd. With ‘vanity’ plate, essential for all urban 4x4s.

Upper end of Divinity Road.

95 Divinity Road. It now has a parking ticket (thanks, neighbour, for reporting it). But it was there overnight and probably longer. Wheelchairs? Mobility scooters? Baby buggies?
Grrrr!

Does the name (Prof)
Jo Phoenix mean anything to you? She’s a criminologist as well.

Trans women are women. Thank these brave women for protesting the Supreme Court's bigoted ruling.

This is the Plain in 1979.
It might show the anti-LTN campaigners why the issue is too much traffic, not too many LTNs.

This is the Plain, in 1979.
Might be useful to show it to anti-LTN people who will not accept that the problem at the Plain is too many vehicles.

County Council election tomorrow.
In the past 6,000 vehicles turned daily into and out of this junction. (the Divinity Area LTN in _east_ Oxford).
Reform, the Conservatives and an anti-LTN independent want the LTNs removed.
Grrr!
