A beautiful memorial for a beautiful & remarkable person -- & a kick-ass reporter -- who's left more of a legacy in the state of Florida and newsrooms across the country than I can even begin to describe. I am fortunate to have known her even a little. RIP, Lucy Morgan. (And give 'em hell up there.)
Lucy Morgan, a Florida journalism legend, dies at 82 in Tallahassee
Aside from journalism honors that included a 1985 Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting, Morgan was known as a mentor for countless women in the profession.
