I'm challenging myself to at least 22 books this year and I've already read one and I loved it and right now I'm dying to go downtown to buy the rest of the series but I can't until Monday :')

Long story short I've been thinking about the Halloweentown movies a lot lately

LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN I knew by page 40!!!!!! Poirot would be so proud of me

Ever After: He said this was the better one and he was practically at a loss for words and I had to prompt him to get any comment, he liked how Henry and Danielle had actual time to get to know each other and fall in love and he liked Leonardo's character

A Cinderella Story: He loved Rhonda & he agreed with me that Carter is an A+ best friend (& he found the step-sisters increasingly annoying over the course of the movie)
R+H Cinderella: He wasn't that into it but he didn't hate it, though he thought the sets & costumes were perfect & he loved Lionel

We finally had our Cinderella Day yesterday and I had him rate each one from 1-10 and here are his results:
A Cinderella Story: 6.5/10
R+H Cinderella: 5/10
Ever After: 8/10

Update: My brother declined the live action Cinderella but he did agree to the 2004 A Cinderella Story starring Hilary Duff, no date has been set for us to watch the movies but it'll probably be later this month (I'll update then with his opinions 👀)

Now I just need to decide whether or not to complete the day with a third movie or not (likely the live action Disney Cinderella??)

I'm not too surprised by the first one but I thought that he'd at least seen Ever After since it's deemed the "cool" Cinderella movie
