But honestly the biggest hit to my heart was hearing the announce team loudly and repeatedly calling them The Golden Lovers again, without hesitation or prevarication. I have a lot of issues with AEW but commentary's refusal to say their proper name is right up at the top of the list.

I knew Ibushi was at the Dome. I still wasn't ready to see him show up with Kenny like that, and Kenny looking beautiful the way he only does when Kota is with him, and Kota's stubborn ass insisting on walking under his own power to the ring because he's an absurd human being

Will looked so freaking happy but also the most grown-up I've ever seen him? There was this air to him coming to the ring that just felt so mature, the way that only the bittersweetness of real endings can do to a person.

Okay so my thoughts got a lot less coherent after this. Mostly it was crying. A lot of crying. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Tana yet, and I sure as HELL wasn't ready to see Jay White materialize from the ether.
