Climbing milkweed is a perennial vine that thrives in hot, dry areas, found growing over rocks in canyons and washes. It has pinkish-white flowers that resemble tiny stars. It is the host plant for the Queen & Monarch butterfly. store.theodorepayne.org/products/funastrum-cynanchoides-ssp-hartwegii

🌻Who doesn’t love a sunflower? Recently added to our Local Source Initiative (LSI), this powerhouse supports pollinators (there are over 60 sunflower-specialist native bees in CA!), improves soil health with its deep roots, and even helps clean contaminated soils through phytoremediation.

Anemopsis californica, also known as yerba mansa or lizard tail, is a perennial herb with white cone-shaped flowers and red stems. "Yerba" means "herb" and "mansa" means "calm," which is fitting since this plant is known to have medicinal properties. Come on by and pick some up at our nursery 🦎
