"The girl who drank the moon" by Kelly Barnhill

I read this book out loud to my children while they were in elementary school, but I have read it to myself since. It is a beautiful story of grief, hope, and love. And it's hilarious.

It remains to this day one of my favorite uses of perspective.

I normally don't go for this kind of thing, but I feel like sharing so let's see who's interested.
