First #conceptart. I am already satisfied with the lantern design for which I *definitely* didn't take inspiration from a street lantern I saw in Makkah.

Starting preproduction of my 3d isometric game with Islamic elements.
It will likely feature a lantern as its main mechanic. You will be able to attack, defend and move in unique ways with the light it has.

Planned end of preproduction is 31.01.2025

Today, I am starting with the preproduction. I might use @codecks.bsky.social to organise the project later on.

I am amazed by how many people filled out the form. Its around 70 rn.

Most people said they enjoy action, story, strategy and adventure. That is a nice direction to head into.

Working on a form for target audience analysis. I never thought it would be this difficult to ask meaningful questions.

The beginning of the beginning is always the most difficult :(. Perfectionism must stop in order for preproduction to start.
