Yeah - not really a centralised movement, though you could point to a few key productions/perfomances. Think part of the prob is dearth of critical/academic voices identifying key trends - kitchen sink, in-yer-face etc all had their advocates. Cuts to universities and journalism partly to blame.

I think gender-blind casting (particularly in classic revivals) may one day be seen as a major movement/shift that happened largely in the last decade. But perhaps it's been so gradual it doesn't feel revolutionary.
