Just a huess, but if it's a small dock like the one at a nearby lake here, the thought may be that it's basically being regularly "washed" by waves, splashes, and rain. Plus the nudies swimming out to it are getting a "bath" on the way there.

I've occasionally taken late night "moonbaths" sitting quietly in the backyard. Unfortunately neighboring houses are tall enough to allow vision over the privacy fence.

Thank you so much! The link to how to use it explained a setting I hadn't understood initially, so it's much cleaner to hide replies from the feed to show just initial posts. FAR less cluttered.
