A moment to remember in the Abruzzo region of Italy, the thunderstorm was rolling towards us and the rain was starting

However as photographers we went towards the storm and I stayed back a bit to get the wider scene hoping to capture this type of image

When life gets tough, when you feel like things can’t get any worse and they do, this is a visual representation of that

I feel like the log, just managing to stay afloat, my head above water no matter what gets thrown at me

An image I’ve always enjoyed but it just never worked on instagram as they don’t allow wide images to be shown when the phone gets rotated so the look poor

This old tree has gone now and so glad I got to keep a record of it

My journey of learning and discovering macro type photography is on its way.

Learning / training yourself to see the tiny details is tough as is getting the angles right and the camera setup
