Considering what I’ve seen the past two years, it’s probably for the best.

I’ve never met a city FAN I didn’t love. But the politics aren’t great with the club.

Could be from second-hand information too. I'm just reporting what I hear J. I retract my initial point about the tickets. You guys are right about the prices. I concede. I'm not saying that sarcastically either. but from MY spot, I heard a lot of international blowup from late UCL matches.
February 10, 2025 at 1:40 PM
And what I've been told by people who I've sent to matches, the complaints have come on away days and UCL days.
February 10, 2025 at 1:36 PM
and like I said, they'll never put the genie back in the bottle and roll back ticket prices if the team goes belly up and the stands are half-full...
February 10, 2025 at 1:34 PM
You're right. It's not. And if anything I've learned covering baseball is that ticket prices don't mean dick in covering the cost of maintaining a sports franchise. So I'm backing off.

I've dealt with different issues and complaints as the chair of an OSC whose vice chair still works with his OSC in England.

I suppose an argument can be made that prices will never be rolled back, but at the same time, the queue is a mile long behind the person who doesn't want to pay 800 quid for season tickets. These are the same fans that gate keep against us Americans.

I don't think one extra viewer tuned in saying "Oh, Tom Brady's on the game?"
February 10, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but while I empathize, I don't sympathize. Come to the U.S. sometime and try and catch a sporting event. Makes English prices seem downright reasonable! Wait 'til they learn about PSLs!

Might have to blow the dust off the Xbox.
