I've tried everything to update past Windows 11 23H2. I updated all my drivers and ran system file checker. Looks like reformatting is my only option now. This is my main computer that I edit on so this will not be pleasant.

Well, it looks like I'm going back to installing everything from floppies and CDs on my retro PCs. The latest version of Open Media Vault has broken the ability to install software from cabs. SMB1 is enabled. There doesn't seem to be a solution.

My apologies for the lack of videos in September. There has been a lot, and I mean A LOT, of personal things going on that I've had to deal with (good things, but still busy stuff). Hoping to get back on track with videos in October. Also, I'm at the beach right now. Cool.

I Retrobrited the front of the Packard Bell Legend 1510 Supreme today. It was badly yellowed but looks brand new now. Hasn't looked this good in years.

I normally don't write scripts for my videos, but the Windows 95 30th anniversary video deserves extra care. I also find it appropriate to write the script on an actual Windows 95 video. Planning to have the video ready for this Sunday.

Windows Me will be 25 years old in September. Thinking of doing a little video for it. Someone has to do it...

I'm happy to say that the stability issue with the Packard Bell Legend 1510 Supreme has been fixed. Turns out it was the RAM all along, despite MemTest86 saying everything was good. It now runs like new.

This week's video was going to be me testing this weird Intel Atom thinclient I bought at Goodwill this past weekend for $10. I just didn't feel like doing a video this week due to being sick, but I hope to show this computer in next week's video.

A legend returns tomorrow.

I am still planning to rebuild the Packard Bell Legend 1510 Supreme very soon. March was 20 years since I first got it. I think I already have the parts I need. These pictures were taken in May 2005.

I recently acquired a complete in-box Microsoft EasyBall from 1995/1996. Would any of you be interested in a video checking out this odd wonder?

Tomorrow's video will be about setting up the Gateway GP7-550. I drove all the way to Virginia to get this computer so please watch.

Very long-time viewers of my channel may remember the Thriftstalgia computer that I bought and did videos of back in 2010. I gave it to my aunt that same year and she has offered to return it to me. Looking forward to using it again after nearly 15 years.
