4 full tours today with a break in the weather! Here’s a beautiful Atlantic Puffin bringing in sandeels for its chick. There are only a few puffin now on the waters around Noss & on the cliffs as the pufflings fledge and they all head off for a long 8 months on the open sea! #thenossboat #nossboat

Summer plumaged Grey Phalarope found by Phil yesterday morning. I got to see it in late evening light last night around 9pm! So glad I did! Look at those feet! #shetland #springbirding #greyphalarope

Eye-browed Thrush - Yell. Wasn’t expecting this belter of a thrush on my way to change over our self catering Solan House on Unst today. Found earlier by Christian Melgar and found out in the open for us with minutes to spare by Adrian Kettle. Only our second for Shetland after Phil’s bird in 2020.
