Certainly possible our bar for young CB play is too low given the Kipp saga!

Man, strongly disagree. From watching his 426 minutes live & again on film the next day, consensus here in ATX is he's very promising young CB.

He started five games, two of them Austin threw away (pre-USOC final + Decision Day locked into the 6 seed).
The other three were wins, including the USOC semis against the Loons. ATX gave up zero (0) open play goals in the three meaningful games he appeared in.
