Surrounded by the stress of my slowly collapsing world and my mind going a mile a minute. I was in desperate need of a distraction. So tonight we got lost in Cregger’s head for a couple hours. Fan-fucking-tastic! #WeaponsMovie

Time for a nice distraction from life for 101 minutes.

Happy 40th anniversary Day of the Dead!

This little guy was hanging out on my antenna as I got in my work van.

As some of you might know, the dragonfly is a symbol of courage/happiness/rebirth in the Japanese culture. Call it wishful thinking. Call it superstition. After the couple months I’ve had, I’ll take what I can get.

Clouds cleared just in time to capture a beautiful sunset. Perfect ending to the day.

It’s probably been that long since I’ve seen it last. Super hyped.

Been watching since the RakaRaka days and got to say, these Philippou guys might have a bit of talent in the horror genre.

For real though, Solid story building and absolutely gruesome practical effects. Bring Her Back was definitely worth the watch!

Review: 'Clown In A Cornfield'
Based on Adam Cesare’s novel of the same name, Clown in a Cornfield sticks pretty close to the source material

Nothing quite like a new-wave Saturday night!

Finally got to scratch another band off my bucket list with the Devo: 50 Years Of De-evolution tour at The Anthem DC. Been a fan of this band ever since my uncle played Are We Not Men? for me back in the early 80’s.

Caught Sinners today finally. Coogler did an excellent job with the writing/directing. It was great to see what he can do when he moves away from Marvel. The cinematography, the fresh original story, the cast, the acting, the soundtrack all excellent. That Juke Joint scene was amazing!

So I sat down for an early IMAX screening of Warfare tonight. Pardon my French but fuck me sideways. That is one that will sit with me for the rest of the night and is begging to be watched again and again.
