The Big Play is coming and is looking for more stall holders.
This is going to be the best children's convention you've ever soon! And we are buzzing to be going along.

I'm going to tag a few businesses below, that I think would love to take part, but if you know any more, get tagging too.

Today our middle boy turns 5! We celebrated yesterday with the help of 2 local companies and it was amazing fun.

First Allsortz Bouncers Bouncy Castle & Soft Play Hire hired us a bouncy castle.

Then we had Dinky Ducks Entertainment & Soft Play Hire who brought along a couple of speedy friends

Of course today is the day the 4 year old decides to put his reading in practise. Clear as day F...
Followed by the 7 year old finding a plate with a similar design and declaring it's rude because we have to bring our manners to the table.

We headed into town today with the sole intention of visiting a pokemon shop. What I didn't realise was that one of them doesn't open til 12 and the other isn't currently closed for holiday.

So there was only one thing to save the day, an ice cream at Gallone's Ice Cream Bedford

Just back from Jordans Mill. The kids had great fun doing the world sports events. £4 each child, took about an hour. Well presented, good value and lots of fun.

The only downside is the fact you're not allowed to take your own picnics. I get they need to make money, but this can put people off

The good: beautiful scenery, the great outdoors, time with the kids.

The bad: there were no route signs after the first one, so idea if we followed any particular route.

The ugly: the 2 year old screaming in your face when you pass a blackberry bush until give in and give him one...... every time

Last weekend was so much fun.
We did not let the rain put us off, and with thanks to Cotton End Village Hall we still managed to have our picnic.
We had games to play, sandwiches to eat and lots to chat about.
We had a new member join us, and even one of the kids' grandpas came along!

Our meet up us still going ahead, and our friends Standing In The Wings have an event on this weekend. Watch the video to find out more.

Also, sorry about the face, I couldn't see because of the sun 🤣

If you've had your evening out, done your exercise, had your coffee and you still don't feel like you why don't you talk to someone.
We've got some great peer talking groups in Bedford including For Men To Talk, The Man Cave UK, Recovery Rods, DADS AREA, Andys Man Club and of course us!

Due to forecast storms for Saturday, we were worried we might have to cancel our picnic. But fear not, the wonderful Karen at Cotton End Village Hall has come to the rescue.
She is allowing us to use the space, inside the warm dry hall, to enjoy our picnic and play some games.

Yesterday's post was for you parents rather than the kids, and so is today's
Another excellent way to de-stress and clear your mind is through exercise.
I know, it doesn't sound like much fun, but getting that oxygen into your lungs, your muscles stretched, and mind cleared really helps.

The Nomad mum and I went out out last night!
This doesn't happen very often being parents to 3 wild children. But I'm happy it did. It gave us a chance to remember who we were before children, who we are alongside being parents and we will be again when our children are all grown up.

We had some fantastic news this week. Our youngest has been discharged from Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity

If you're free on Sunday 20th July, head down to Westoning and cheer on the mighty Isaac's Eagles FC!
Or head to www.justgiving.com/page/hanna-o... and drop them a couple of quid.
