Like Nandor has exclusively had human love interests or in Jan’s case a vampire claiming to become human again. He’s in love with humanity and the beauty of it, and he’s in love with Guillermo and what humanity he has in him.

i aggressivly agree with everything! i could read entire pages about him as a character and the way there's actually nothing monstrous about the way he feels, it's just an exaggerated version of very human feelings☹️

also, i'd like to add that i swoon over his infinite charm only in Nandor form which is so fucking funny to me😭😭😭 but there's one interview at a con i believe, where the way he was looking at the interviewer shook me to my core, im gonna be so real

well, about falling for humans, it's not completely right because he did fall for Jan but even then, he thought she was a former-vampire and was also brainwashed (even tho i have my theories he wasn't ) so yeah, still fits the pattern

Also, i think it's really smart how the writers made him always be in love with humans because it ties perfectly for he's longing about human life! (and also, it's a nice parallel to him loving guillermo but kinda repressing it and giving that love to other humans)

He has a 'traditional' idea of what a relationship should be and when he falls for someome i think he falls for the idea of someone and for the feeling of being in love itself
