I think when people say this season was missing Dracula, they are wrong from a literal standpoint. But right from the standpoint of we needed a stronger villain to shine earlier on. But once things pick up I was very invested and am now looking forward to season 2.

But the back half was really great. I think it’s cause in the first half they didn’t do a lot to flesh out the seasons villains. You don’t really get a good grasp on the villains until the back end which is a far cry from Dracula and the various original series villains.
