I was lucky enough to see the Mavericks this summer. He was sick, but you still felt Raul's love for music and playing for people. He was a good cat. RIP

There is some hope to seeing the serious looks and non-reaction of the flag officers in this room. But I can't help but be reminded that at least one uniformed guy listening to Squirt-Gun Pete's diatribe authorized a missile attack on non-combatant small craft(s) in the Caribbean.
Many of this are left cold by this. I sure am. But this - the kind of performative Andrew Tate cartoon-masculinity, the clumsy swagger, the maundering braggadocio, the needy desperate I‘M A MANLY MAN I’M A MANLY MAN, speaks to a howling void of inadequacy in some people’s souls.
